Formally opened on Friday 1st August, the Centre has been open for some weeks, providing drop-in sessions for parents and pre-school children.
There are play and stay sessions, tea and toast mornings, and it is hoped to start a monthly Saturday session for Dads. The Centre aims to provide information on childcare and provision for children in the early years, plus information and advice for parents.
It is a place where you can find out what is available for young children and their parents or carers in the area, with links to health services and Jobcentre Plus. Support is also given to childminders, who can come along on September 8th or 11th for an hour to find out more.
