Fenny Compton Allotments Association
We are delighted to announce that the village now has its own allotments Association, the Fenny Compton Allotments Association (FCAA) and has an elected (unopposed) committee consisting of:
- Karen Atkins – Member;
- Linda Feltham – Treasurer;
- Simon Gooding – Chairperson;
- Heather Gunn – Member;
- Christine Morley – Member; and,
- Robert Purse – Secretary.
It was mentioned at the last Allotments Working Group (AWG) meeting, but we would like to place on record our very sincere thanks to Jon Dutton not just for his work on behalf of the AWG, but also his support for the establishment of the FCAA. Jon Dutton is the Parish Council ‘observer' on the Association's committee.
The Association was incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee in August and has 23 members. By sharing plots, we can accommodate another 8 members. Once plot allocation is complete we will establish a waiting list, and the good news is that everyone, including people on the waiting list will be able to benefit from the member discounts that we have negotiated.
