The Church of St Peter and St Clare

Your Parish Church is St Peter and St Clare in Fenny Compton.

St Peter & St Clare serves the parish of Avon Dassett with Fenny Compton, which is part of the Dassett Magna Group of Parishes.

You will receive a warm welcome at any of our services and events, which include 'Just A Bite' lunches on the last Monday of the month in Fenny Compton Village Hall, a regular Home Group and social events - please see our website for more information.

Regular Monthly Services

1st Sunday: Morning Prayer 10:30am.

2nd Sunday: Communion at 10:30am and Messy Church at 3:30pm (in a village hall - see website for this month's information).

3rd Sunday: Family Worship at 10:30am and Songs of Praise with Communion at 6:00pm ( in one of the Dassett Magna Churches - see website for this month's information).

4th Sunday: Tradional - language Communion at 9:00am.

5th Sunday: Communion at 10:30am (in one of the Dassett Magna Churches - see website for this month's information.

Soaking Prayer: Thursday 7th December at 7:30pm at the Chapel of Ease in Northend. In the very busy time leading to Christmas Soaking Prayer is a space and time for you. Whilst as Christians we understand that God's presence is always with us, sometimes we need to set aside times of quiet prayer, contemplation, and relaxation for us to be present with God.
Weekly Compline Services: Throughout December the Dassett Magna Parishes will be celebrating Advent with weekly compline services. Each with start at 7:30pm, and last for about half an hour. Northend: Wednesday 6th December; Farnborough: 6th December; Fenny Compton 13th December.
Christmas Crib Service: This will be held on Sunday 17th December at 10:30am in Fenny Compton Parish Church. In this service the children create the church Christmas Crib as the familiar carols about the Christmas story are sung.
Christmas Day Service: Please notice that the time of the Christmas Day Service at Fenny Compton has been changed from 10:30am to 9:45am.
P@thway: P@thway is a new afternoon tea, craft and worship gathering for families in the Community Centre at Temple Herdewyke. It starts at 4:15pm on Sunday 7th January with tea and while the children follow with crafts their parents continue with a discussion on a similar topic in the room upstairs.
Messy Church: Fenny Compton Village Hall Sunday 21st January at 3:30pm. The theme will be A New Beginning and we will have crafts, songs and a talk. Tea, coffee and cake will be served through the afternoon.
Evensong: In Fenny Compton on the evening of Sunday 21st January there will be a sung Evensong in the church at 6pm. Everyone is welcome.
