Avon Dassett Gardening Club
The Club was founded in the late 1970s and has become a social and horticultural meeting place for anyone interested in plants and gardens. Members come not only from Avon Dassett, but also from Fenny Compton and Farnborough and sometimes further afield too. The membership numbers remain around forty despite the inevitable changes from year to year as the population varies.
The Club meets in Farnborough Village Hall for the autumn, winter and spring meetings (Avon Dassett Reading Room is too small to accommodate us). During the summer a variety of garden visits, usually followed by an optional pub supper, and other social evenings are arranged.
Why not come along as a visitor to any of the meetings that interest you? You would be made very welcome.
