Rural Cinema

The Rural Cinema will be taking a break for the summer. Thanks to those of you who have supported us this season and we look forward to welcoming you back in September. The latest information will be circulated to those on our email list and will also be available on the Village Hall Events Blog.

Fenny Compton Church

Family Service: There will be a child friendly service on Sunday 20th August at Fenny Compton Parish Church. It will start at 10:30am and last for about half an hour. Everyone is welcome.

Fenny Compton Methodist Church

Coffee Mornings: Coffee Mornings are held each Friday 10:15am-12noon with lots of fun upstairs for Mums and Toddlers. We would be pleased to see you at our Church services or Coffee Mornings - there is always a great welcome at the Chapel.

Just a Bite.

Just a Bite will be on Monday 31st July 12 noon - 1.30pm in Fenny Compton Village Hall. A light lunch of homemade soup, roll and cheese costs £3.50 and with tea, coffee and homemade cake also available. Everyone welcome. There will be no Just a Bite in August.

The Granary Open Garden.

The Granary at Fenny Compton Wharf will be opening its gates for the final time for the Nation Garden Scheme over the August Bank Holiday. Come and help us to support nursing charities and enjoy the glories of the late summer garden. Relax watching the boats go by on the canal and indulge yourself in our delicious lunches and teas. Plants, home-made preserves and organically grown produce will be available to purchase. Bring chiller bags if you would like frozen fruit. Open from 11am - 4:30pm on Sunday 27th - Monday 28th August. Children under 14 free entry, dogs welcome on leads. Follow the signs on the A423 to Fenny Compton Wharf.
